Hi, yes, both Zusi Route Finder and Zusi Start work with the Steam version

Zusi Route Finder works with no problem at all, ZusiStart won't work though.
It shows a runtime error, saying that I should install a .net , which I did, but it doesn't work.
I read the manual. I suppose I'm doing something wrong.

Okay, i don't actually write Zusi Start and this topic is mainly for Zusi Route Finder but i will try to help.... so you need to provide more information such as:

1. When does the error occur (when you click a certain button etc. if so, which?)
2. What does the error say?
3. Does it happen for every route or just certain ones?
4. Any more information you can provide?

Last but not least... is Zusi also working okay on its own?
I ask because there has been a recent update that requires you to update .NET

Okay, to use Zusi Start with Zusi Route Finder you need to first download the latest version of Zusi Start which can be found here....

Extract that Zip folder to a folder of your choice, open that folder and create a Windows shortcut to the file in that folder called: ZusiStart.exe

You can then run Zusi Start from that shortcut.

As for it being in English, well most of Zusi Start should be self explanatory what it does, just play around with it and see, also i believe Harold the author of Zusi Start may decide to do an English version in the future but don't quote me on that.

Hi, no i don't think you need to uninstall Zusi Start... it should pick up the new game files and routes itself

Further Notes:

Also in Zusi itself make sure that the Zusi Server is running............. you can find this in Zusi under the menu option Configuration > Settings.. > click the Miscelaneous Tab and make sure that Start Server Automatically is checked on.

And in Zusi Start make sure you have your Start Options (find these on the menu: Tools > Start-Optionen) like in this image (to change one of the options just click the signal on the left and you will see it animate up and down), once you have made changes click the green button (Ubernehmen) ...



Now restart everything and see if that makes a difference

Well I did everything you suggested, and I get the install the latest .NETCore App, vesion 6.0.36 (x64).
I installed it , and get the same error.
Eventually I'll find the solution, I can play Zusi without ZusiStart.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this message, but it seems that Fahrplan/Strecke \Salzkotten_Goettingen_Kassel\Kassel-HannMuenden_2021 doesn't show up in Zusi Route Finder. Last night I ran EZ51186 with a bad result and wanted this train to add to my favorits in Route Finder. When searching for number 51186 I found 3 matches, but not the one with Vehicle 185. Am I overlooking something?

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this message, but it seems that Fahrplan/Strecke \Salzkotten_Goettingen_Kassel\Kassel-HannMuenden_2021 doesn't show up in Zusi Route Finder. Last night I ran EZ51186 with a bad result and wanted this train to add to my favorits in Route Finder. When searching for number 51186 I found 3 matches, but not the one with Vehicle 185. Am I overlooking something?

Hi, in the Filter panel on the left click the Reset button at the top to clear everything now enter 51186 into the Number combo box and 4 routes should appear.... the top one does not have any entry under Vehicle.... is this your route?

Unfortunately with some of the latest routes that have appeared in Zusi i could not extract the train/vehicle class hence why that column is empty.

To get around that for now you should clear the Filter panel (or at the very least clear the Vehicle combobox so it says All Vehicles) and then do your search on the route number.

In the next version of Route Finder i will try to make the search on vehicle also include any that have an empty column no matter what vehicle number you enter in the filter panel, at least that way the route will still appear.

Also, don't forget the use of the Note... you can always add the vehicle number and anything else into that as a reminder of something once you have found the route you are looking for.

If the above is not the route you are looking for then its more than likely been added to Zusi very recently and should appear in the next update of Route Finder.

I guess that is an issue due to the fact I use the Aerosoft version.

After rechecking it seems the train without an entry in the vehicle column points to ..\Rund_ums_Weserbergland\Weserbergland_1996_5-11Uhr.fpn, so it's not the one I'm looking for.

Hi, first of all i cannot answer questions about the Aerosoft version of Zusi since i do not use it.... if you like Zusi Route Finder and Zusi then do yourself a favour and go get the Steam version
Also i cannot really answer questions about Zusi Start either since i did not write it, this topic applies to Zusi Route Finder only, please see other topics on the Forum about Zusi Start.

Other than that i have looked into what you mentioned and will reply with some screenshots of what i found shortly...
