zoom the 3D world

Hello!
I know that the cockpit cannot be zoomed unless it is prepared for it, as it is a 2D image. But, is there anyway to zoom in the 3D world? Right now the view of the world is too zoom out for me, and the only option to zoom in is pressing up arrow key, but that removes the 2D cockpit.

It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but you can change the zoom in the settings using the "<-- Wide angle) Driver zoom (Telephoto -->" slider.
