Gleisplan Editor Quick Question

Exploring this and making some progress. A couple of things I can't quite work out yet.

1. How do I join or extrude further sections of track, e.g. to a set of points?
2. How do I apply a gradient to a section of track.

Other than that the 2D editor isn't too bad, I imported a track plan for a miniature railway after upscaling and georeferencing in Transdem.

Oh and is it possible to change the colour of placed non highlighted track sections? at present these are black on top of the black lines on the drawing.

Unfortunately there is no docu for the whole editors (except timetable editor) in English. Did you try to read the German version?

I intend to run it progressively through Google Translate but was just after a couple of quick tips to get started.
