Zusi 3 Datenbank search for AFB trains

In ZUSI 3 datenbank under Tab "Suche Zug"
Is it possible to search for AFB trains (freight or passengers) by daylight timetable as option
Also as option how long time i will drive the train.

You cannot search directly for trains with AFB, you can however search under "Suche Führerstand" for cabs which are fitted with AFB, and then view trains for each cab.

it might help you to know about the "system behind" the DeutscheBahn "BR-number-system":

In general, every three-digit "BR"-number starting with a "1" or a "2" is a locomotive:

• BR 1XX: Electric locos (e. g. BR 101, 103, 146...)
  BR 2XX: Diesel-powered locos (BR 218, BR 245, ...)

Then there are:

• BR 4XX: Electric multiple units ("Triebwagen")

• BR 6XX: Diesel-multiple units

• ...

I think a filter for "long driving times" does not exist in ZusiDatenbank, but the following timetables feature some scenarios with massive driving-time:

• - Almost any timetable with "Kassel" or "Ruhrtalbahn" in it (look out for scenarios from Kassel to Hagen or back, especially)
  - Marschbahn --> "Eiderbruecke-Westerland"
  - Lehrte_Harburg (Lehrte to Uelzen or back)

Good to know now the numbering of german trains and i thought so.

I think a filter for "long driving times" does not exist in ZusiDatenbank, but the following timetables feature some scenarios with massive driving-time:

• - Almost any timetable with "Kassel" or "Ruhrtalbahn" in it (look out for scenarios from Kassel to Hagen or back, especially)
  - Marschbahn --> "Eiderbruecke-Westerland"
  - Lehrte_Harburg (Lehrte to Uelzen or back)

I am using also Zusilauncher as database and there you could fill in as option : Fahrtdauer (min,max)
Then used as zugnummer T : gattung T = triebwagen and Baureihe
It is easily seen there in Zusilauncher the fahrtdauer between parenthesises

Let's for fun search for the longest drivetime
Found within a minute ( fahrtdauer between 400 and 600 ) gives a drive for 7: 31 h
- Dstp5807-5812 Kassel Rbf-Kassel Hbf-Kassel Rbf
I start it ..but it is not a loc ..must search again with br numbers..no not possible i choose güterzug and between 300-600 min as search options
Now, i found 5.56 h for SchadWC66499 Scherfede-Paderborn Nord and 5.03 h timetable with trains ?

I will look at your timetables

A nice feature of Zusilauncher is that it start ZUsi3 when you choose a train there

I like to see in the list the pictures of the cabs with AFB..i can pick older and newer trains
Together with the Baureihe and year and a information field what tells something about the train

It is stored in the Zusi database as a freighttrain : Fahrplanzug LPFT-W78297 is güterzug for 200 km/h

Ah. Yes, that is the case for a freighttrain ..
This train is driven from one locomotive depot to another locomotive depot (Bbf)

I must say that Zusi3 for me now at this moment is, one big puzzle and that prevents me to really enjoy it.
To get information about a Cab for a traintype is troublesome

Userfriendlyness is the keyword to improve for Zusi3 for the near future and in this state its not for the mass.
Seems that Zusidatabase is only for the German users and also lacking vital helping information.
Can't blame the maker of the database, because it is a hobbyproject probably for him.

Hopefully there is better Zusi3 to aspect as time goes by.
