If you don't speak German you should realy prefer to wait for the official update in a few days and not install any beta content.

If you have aerosoft version steam updater is active so have no access to beta content at all.

Hello Ben,

another reason to not participate in the beta-versions in case one isn't at least to some degree fluent in German is that using the beta-versions properly absolutely requires you to be up to date with the bugs (and their fixes) that are adressed by the current beta-version. In order to do so, it is mandatory to be very observant to the discussions and threads in the forum, which both do happen to be German only (due to the developers native language). Obviously this results in some additional waiting time for one feature or the other, but all the main versions (non beta, version number ending in .0) can be expected to be fully functional and well tested.

I personally, even though fluent in German as well, chose not to do beta-versions simply because I lack the time to be up to date on the discussions at all times and to do actual testing (and therefore being unable to give useful feedback to the developing team(s)).

On another note - there is no such things as a stupid question. Any questions you might have (if properly adressed to the comunity) will be answered to everyones best knowledge. This is IMHO something very unique and remarkable about the Zusi community you're now a part of.

...and finally: betas usually does not update translation files, so new features won't be translated.
