Since reinstalling Zusi 2 plus all the updates, it is nice to see all the longer routes such as Rhine West Bank, Obereruhrtalbahn etc. However the downside to this are that many of the timetable runs are well over an hour in length which means it is often not possible to finish in the time available for a quick drive. How easy would it be to put a simple "Save" facility in Zusi (and more particularly thinking ahead to Zusi 3) which would allow players to resume.
I know this might be seen as a "cheat" but it would make actually finishing a session on one of these longer routes possible. Many of us are not driving for the score but just to enjoy the route, the traction and the immersive experience Zusi offers.

It would be a huge amount of work to code that.
So this feature has very low chances to be implemented.

Re: Save Game Feature
Ran the other reply through Google and appreciate the amount of work that might be involved, but it remains a fact if (eventually) we want longer routes in Zusi 3 it is a highly desirable feature to have.

Re: Save Game Feature
I think it's on the wish list for quite some time. Not so easy to implement as far as I understand it.
