Roads or Terrain - Which First
Roads or Terrain - Which First
I am currently looking at building a small UK route in the Strecken Editor. Just wondered whether it is feasible to lay any roads after the terrain. While it is fairly easy to lay out the track first following the plans and gradient profile, roads are much more random and easier to follow the terrain when plotting them.

Vern,
the terrain in zusi is build against all already existing polygons which are not linked into the file (for the terrain shaper). Therefore you should place the roads before the generation of the terrain. Building roads can be done very quickly using the track surveyor. Simply place the raw track data along the routes and than use the spline function in the surveyor with a speed of 10km/h and you can build roands very quick.
