Problem

#1 Beitrag von Jason-M »

Sometimes when loading a route in Zusi I am unable to see my train because a view still exists from a previous journey, my train is in the background but am unable to see it.
Anyone else had this problem?

I strongly recommend you to quit and restart Zusi before loading another route. This helps to avoid a lot of problems.

You mean you just loaded the route and the timetable and you can't see your train (you just "float" above the track)? Well, your train has not yet arrived. Hit F11 to jump to your departure time.

Hello Tom,

No what happens is that a different view of the route shows on the screen(from a previous journey) and in the background the train I have chosen is there(i can hear it), it is difficult to explain.

I sorted it by closing the timetable and info window, the proper view then appeared.

I think I know what you mean. Next time try hitting F2. Zusi starts in paused mode when you begin another journey.

Still got problems and it seems to do with the info window, as you can see in the pic below the view above the top of the info window is the proper view but below is a different static view, if I move the info window up or down the proper view moves with it, very strange.
I am begining to think it is a graphic problem, I have recently updated my NVidia drivers to the latest.

Hi Jason
I see there is a nvidia card in your system?
In this case try to disable "Show shadows under menus/mouse pointer" and "Show window contents while dragging" in the Windows "MyComputer/properties/advanced/performance" settings.
Maybe this can help.

Hi Jason

If you want to use Anti-Aliasing (which looks really much better), try using the old driver version 71.89, which is the last version that is working properly AFAIK.

Yes it is best to let the application control antialiasing. I recently installed a new Geforce 6600 card and when I set 4 x antialias on the card, Windows Media (movie) clips no longer played. Restored application controlled and all okay.

I put my settings back to application controlled after still having problems, and now everything is ok.
