Brighton - Hastings

#1 Beitrag von Christian Gründler »

At several occasions this route has been mentioned before here in the Forum, but I think that it is time to announce it officially: Jason Morgan, Oliver Lamm and myself are working on Lewes - Eastbourne - Pevensey Bay, which is part of Brighton - Hastings and probably the first British route for Zusi. Stage is an early beta which unfortunately cannot be released at the moment because of suitable rolling stock still missing :( .

@Frank Wenzel: I hope you read the English forum! Please include this route in the list on your website. Parts are

- Brighton - Lewes (13 km, at planning stage)
- Lewes - Eastbourne - Pevensey Bay (32 km, under construction)
- Pevensey Bay - Hastings/Ore (17 km, at planning stage)
- Lewes - Seaford (13 km, at planning stage)

Regards,
Christian

Thanks Vern.

I would just like to say that most the hard work has been done by Christian and Oli.

Also can I point out that the cig cab in the above pictures is not the one that will be released with the route, we have just borrowed the BVE cab while our own one is being worked on.

Are you lacking cabs or just LS files?

They're looking brilliant! Now there's only a class 375 missing 8)

EDIT: Are there any Screens showing the Eastbourne station building?

Hello Alex,

I know the site, but it had been free last time I visited. I'll give it a try with the registration.

The Electrostar's looking good!

I'm not absolutely sure, but isn't it the class 375 operating on the South Central Trains network? Although I can't really see a difference between the two trains.

Hello Niklas,

The class 377 run on the Southern network and the class 375 run on the SouthEastern.
As you say there is no difference not externally anyway, only the livery.

Southern run 3 and 4 car versions of the 377, we usually only see the 4 car version in the Eastbourne area and the Brighton to London express see the 3 cars made up to a 9 or 12 car.
Of course a 3 car can turn up at Eastbourne if Brighton(lovers walk depot) are short of 4 cars.

Ok, well! Thanks for enlightening me ;D

So am I right that the Eastbourne-Hastings route belongs to the South Eastern network?

No the Eastbourne to Hastings/Ashford International line is operated by Southern.
