ADD-ONs troubles

Good day, gentelmen!

I have a problem with add-ons, exactly with routes. For example, I have downloaded the latest KBS 850 (Stand 2004) from http://www.zusi.de, extracted the .ZAD file and run the instalation (correctly).

When I try to open the timetable in Fahrsimulator, there is a couple of warnings - Fehler: Lok-Datei ... nicht gefunden - der Zug wird nicht aufgestellt!

It happens generally for all add-on routes I have dowloaded.

Could anyone here give some solution? Thank you

Hello @pospec

You can't downloding and installing only one Add On.

You must start with the first Add-on for your CD, and install all Add-On in order of the Numbers.

For Example:
You have CD13, first you must
install : cd13_01_icepaket.zip
then : cd13_02_update01.zip
then : cd13_03...
and so on


If you haven't install in order of the Numbers or you haven't install all packets, the only simple way to correct this misttake is to delete Zusi and re-install the CD and Start again.

Hint: you shell update the simulator to get the aktualy bug-fixing

Hi and welcome.

It doen't matter what you install first. The sequence is only crucial while installing the AddOns. All AddOns marked with a red star are necessary, but installing all AddOns is highly recommended.

What if I´ve installed some route (.ZAD´s) from internet*) and have got some datei nicht gefunden warnings.
Do they have any effect on other routes?

It is a very difficult question,

The Zusi-Installer can use a script to change location and name of files. If a programmer hasn't test the route with the "new" CD you can get a lot of trouble. In the History of Zusi, we have many changes in the datafiles, but not all programmers of Zusi Routs have accepted this, and not all routes a up to date.

The best way is to take a Question into the Zusi Forum if you want to install this route.

In the worst case, you install again Zusi...

ps: "datei nicht gefunden" = "File not found"
The Question is, which file, e.g a train without Enginefile will not drive...

Hint: The Board has a very good funktion for such questions, call "Suchen" or Search.
